Inspection & Guarantee
How we inspect, and what we guarantee
We sell vintage and pre-owned watches as they are — without overhauling them. In exchange, we promise three things: a thorough inspection, full disclosure of every flaw, and real support if something is wrong on arrival. This is how "affordable and honest" works.
The inspection process
- Sourcing & authentication — Reference, serial and specifications are verified. Watches with any doubt about authenticity are never listed.
- Cleaning & case check — Case and bracelet are cleaned; scratches, defects and missing parts are logged one by one.
- Function test — Running, winding, crown operation and calendar are tested. Results appear in each listing's Inspection Record.
- Photography & disclosure — 10+ photos, full views to macro. Flaws are photographed close-up and shown, never hidden.
Condition grades
- A — Light use, no notable scratches. Top condition for a vintage piece.
- B+ — Small scratches from normal use, but a strong overall impression. Our most common grade.
- B — Visible wear and scratches — good for daily wear or a first vintage watch. Every flaw is photographed.
- C — Significant wear or damage. For parts or restoration projects, with the issues clearly stated.
Grades describe the exterior. For how the watch runs, see the Inspection Record on each listing.
Guarantee & returns
Arrived faulty — 14 days. If the watch does not work as described in the listing (stops running, crown does not operate, etc.), we refund or repair — your choice. Return shipping is on us. Just message us first by email or Instagram DM.
Changed your mind — 14 days. Unworn watches (protective seal intact) can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Return shipping is at your cost in this case.
About vintage watches. These are mechanical watches made decades ago. They do not have the accuracy or water resistance of a modern watch. Gaining or losing some seconds per day is a characteristic of vintage movements, not a defect. If the service history is unknown and you plan to wear the watch daily for years, we recommend a service by your local watchmaker.
