Returns & 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

We want you to buy with confidence. In addition to your statutory rights, every watch is covered by our 14-day return guarantee.

1. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier), acquires physical possession of the goods.

2. How to exercise it

Notify us before the withdrawal period expires by an unequivocal statement by email to 2025firststep@gmail.com. You may use the model form below (not obligatory):

To FIRSTSTEP Co., Ltd. (WABI-SABI WATCH), 260 Hassujicho, Nishi-ku, Nagoya, Aichi 452-0815, Japan:
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract of sale of the following goods: [item and order number], ordered on [date], received on [date].
Name and address of consumer, date.

3. Returning the goods

Send the goods back to us without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day you notify us of the withdrawal. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods (international shipping to Japan). We strongly recommend a tracked and insured service; the watch remains your responsibility until it reaches us.

4. Refunds

We will refund all payments received from you, including delivery charges (our standard delivery is free), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied proof of having sent them, whichever is earliest. The refund is made using the same means of payment you used, at no fee.

Import VAT and customs clearance fees are collected in your country by the carrier or customs authority and are not payments received by us; we cannot refund them, but you may be able to reclaim them from your customs authority after returning the goods.

5. Condition of the returned watch

You may inspect the watch as you would in a shop. You are liable only for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Please keep protective films and tags in place where possible and include all accessories that were delivered.

6. Defective or not-as-described items

Your statutory legal guarantee of conformity is not affected by this policy. Our watches are pre-owned and each flaw is photographed and described; signs of wear shown in the listing are not defects. If your watch arrives damaged, not working, or materially different from the listing, contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos. In that case we will cover the return shipping and offer a full refund.

7. Customers outside the EU

We voluntarily offer the same 14-day return policy under the same conditions to customers in all countries we ship to.
